Dark Reader Transilluminators是美国Clare Chemical Research生产的蓝光透射仪，也称为蓝光照胶仪，荧光透射仪。是实验室通用的一种高性能照胶仪，用于观察染色凝胶。
Dark Reader蓝光透射仪使用的是纯蓝色可见光作为激发光源，不存在紫外线照射的危险和伤害，可以用来观察一系列的荧光样品包括：SYBR Green, GelStar, GelGreen, SYPRO Ruby, ProQ Diamond, 荧光素以及各种GFPs。

Included:An amber viewing screen that fits exactly over the blue surface is included with each transilluminator. The amber screen absorbs the blue excitation light, after it has illuminated the sample, allowing the user(s) to clearly see the fluorescence. The amber screen can also be used as a camera filter.
All Dark Reader transilluminators are also provided with a free pair of AG16 viewing glasses with exactly the same optical properties as the screen. The glasses are a key accessory for cutting bands out of gels.
